Part 2 - My Betamovie BMC-110 is having trouble. When I load a videocassette, the videohead rotates and engages the tape, but it won't stay activated. It shortly thereafter disengages. But after a couple of minutes, if I push the record button enough, the tape will stay engaged and the heads will continue to rotate, but the tape is slack and does not advance. Any ideas what could be the problem? Douginfo1 at google mail.
